Midgie is still away with the family. Down to the "In law's" for the past week,,,oh what fun she must be having. Today she shall venture the 4 hour trip back,,,It might be longer than that. That should be a fun ride,,4 kids and one Adult in the car,,,wonder how many times she will hear...."Are we there yet". I am sure she will have some great stories to tell and pictures to post. what a day. went to the dentist. had a have x -ray and the girl used latex and I can not use it . Had to get a shot no fun at all .Here is my story I love to hear every year at church..God bless you all on this Christmas day!!

We went to Hudson and had a good time at my family's Xmas's party. Everyone was there and we had a fun time. The kids liked Santa and didn't know who it was it was ....my brother in law ...Bill so that was fun! We seen my husband and I wish he was not drinking before he came to see us ,, { At my sister's house},,,he went over to a friends house and then before he came to my sisters he went to a bar.Andrew says my gram er is bad ,,,..{ a moment in time where the youth are smarter than the parent}..so that is that,we are going to the city on Friday so here is a pic...

well well had a shitty day. really bad , at first i ran with my head cut off.Jessica forgot she was going to be dressed to sing today at school. I ran to the school and gave her cloths to put on. Then i was drinking my coffee and my cap fell off and on the ground so i found it and then call the dentist going tomorrow. went to the drug store and gave them a piace of my mind droped off proscriptions last week and they were not ready. got me mad then my son andrew has to work xmass eve told him the first day he got his new job that we are going to go to the city and to long island for xmass so that is all messed up and that is that. went tonight and watched jessie sing and now i am all better and life will go on. .love to you all on your way........

wednesday all day

what a Wednesday.got up went and got my coffee. went and picked up the in law and went and got more coffee then went out to lunch with him. my son started working at subway today so we went there what fun.come home and cleaned for a long time in Jessie's room what a mess. then went to the store and got her new shoes size 7 Lady's big right. well that was my day in a nut shell.2 more days and i see my love. love to all

winter tree

what a day i baked all day made chocolate chip cookies,oatmeal chip cookies, peanut butter cookies what fun. tomorrow brownies and cookie mice. the kids helped and now i have a big mess to clean. that is the price i have to pay for having all the kids in the kitchen at one time. didn't take johnny to basket ball tonight i was to involved with the cookies. well that is all for today love to all....

I like this pic it is on a country road near my home. Had a good day, went to the mall with my sons class today that was a trip. All the kids are very delayed or in a state of mind you would not like to be in. One of the kids said to me am i mikes sister i said no, then he said i know you are his grandma. Thanks kid. well got all my things together today to wrap for Christmas. boy time fly only 2 weeks left till Christmas. Jessica has a concert this week so i went to the store and got her a dress for it she looks all grownup in it. My baby is getting big. well i talked to my sister Milly today and she thought i called everyone to tell them about the party on sat. no i didn't. I started to tell her that everyone has to watch there own kids and she hung up on me. so don't know what her problem is. My sisters husband is a sex prettier and i don't want him near my kids and my sister in law said he just is not right. so i will watch my kids like a hawk. God if anything ever happens to my kids i don't know what i would do .well that is that . love life........

life is OK today. Went to church with the kids Andrew didn't come. Andrew went to Hudson with my godson today to see his mom. I just went to bingo and i lost. What fun the kids like going and i like the people there.Well here is a new pic hope you like it. it is of copake falls going up the stream near the cabans we stay at. I just love that place.my husband says we are going to go into NYC in two weeks with the kids and go on a carriage ride in central park. go to tavern on the green for lunch and ice skating . well that is all for today love to all...

this is also at copake it is where we go swimming each year. The kids have to take a swimming test to go out to the dock and all my kids past the test 2 years ago so that is really cool.

THE FURNACE at the Copake Iron Works, the ruins of which can be seen in the photograph to the right, was constructed in 1845 by Lemuel Pomeroy and his sons. Lemuel was from Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The remains of this furnace are now part of the Taconic State Park and can be found adjacent to the park managers home near the bottom of High Valley Road.

Four critical ingrediants were needed to establish an iron works in the mid eighteen-hundreds, all were abundantly available at this site in Copake Falls. Quality iron ore, limestone for flux, an abundant source of hardwood for charcoal, and sufficient water power to drive the bellows for the furnace. The Iron Works were located on the Bash Bish Creek, which supplied the power for the furnace, and later the forge that was developed. There were extensive beds of first quality iron ore surrounding it. Some of the best, but cold, swimming in the area is at the "Ore Pit' in the Taconic State Park. The limestone came from a quarry, not far distant, in what is now the hamlet of Copake. The hardwood was harvested in the mountains above the iron works at High Valley Farm and one can still see evidence of the "charcoal pits" where the wood was converted into charcoal.

The miners, who supplied the iron ore for the furnace, originally lived in crude dwellings, many of which were made of rough bark, and contained no more than one room. It is reported that the maximum wage was 70 cents a day at that time. It is also reported that the iron works manufactured about 2,500 tons of blast iron each year. The iron was used to manufacture car wheels. Later axles, gun barrels, plowshares and bar iron were made.

In 1862 the iron works was sold to Frederick Miles.

this is one of the places i love to go to every year with my family and my in laws. This coming year we will be there for a week and all my husbands family will be there the girls that are 11 year old twins my twins 10 and my 2 boys and all the rest of the family i can not wait it will be fun..It is just so nice to be there and just listen to the stream at night. we walk up to the falls and have so much family time it is really cool. well the kids had basketball today lost the games both. had a good day and i hope you did to....

my life in a whole. got up when my sister woke me up at about 11 i love to sleep. went to the store did not a dam thing all day was fealling blue i hate snow and i looked out and there it is. The snow is so cold and wet and i didnt want to drive in it at all today. I went to bingo tonight and i played and lost but i got pull tabs and won 10 so that was good.got two games, basketball games tomarrow so i will be running all day with the kids. so that is all for today life is good i think ...

a new day in the life of me

What a day in the life of a mom of 4. Went up stairs to find a mess all over. Cleaned it all up. Talked to john and he got mad i spent to much money for chrismas things for the kids. so that was in about 20 min then my father inlaw was to come over at 10 am and didnt show up at all so about 1pm i went over to his house and he didnt anser the door so we went down stairs for a minute to find someone to open the door and could not find anyone so we went back up and then he opened the door he was in the shower. he doesnt have a phone yet so i have to go over to his house.Well john is doing better tonight and i am doing better and life is good. well that is all for today ..love to all.

church day

what a day went to church and then came home, mike was sick so he stayed home today from school.went to the salvation army and droped off some cloths that someone gave me and i would never put on my kids.johnny had a game and lost he played agenst a deaf school and the deaf school killed them. One of the boys on the team said sould we take it easy with them adn ouyr coach laght and said they will kill us. so that is what they did. Andrew was on his game and didnt come with us to the game. I talked to john my husband today and he is doing ok missis every one and will see us on the 15 at my sister house so the kids will be happy. my family is having a get together on the 16 i hope everyone comes and i was trying to thing what i sould make what do you think let me know anyone have any suggestions let me know. thanks.well love to all............pic is of the catskills look from across the hudson river

well today went good my father inlaw moved into his new apartmant. That was really good to see him go and mike to get his room back and now i have all the kids to my selve. went to johnnys basketball practice tonight game tomarrow and jess has a practice tomarrow. I will be going nuts trying to be two places at once. Mike is sleeping was not fealling good today. He went to sleep really soon after dinner. Andrew is playing wow now and still trying to kill something and he will be on till 2 am and then to bed and i will try to get him up at 8 to go with me to a store. good luck to that right; well love to all...

well went to my sisters house over the weekend she was so nice to me and my kids i love her so much and her boyfriend was good to the kids too. We went to a winter walk on the streets and the kids liked it. we went out for a bite to eat my sister and me and my doughter and i seen a girl i went to school with i look so much better then her. ya ya i must have a better life and living it to my fullest not ..well life is good. went to my neaces baby showrer over the weekend and seen a lot of people i have not seen in a long time it was fun. she got lots of really nice things makes me want to have a baby agan not....ok that is all for today. love to all

a new start

Well today was a really good day. I went to the shelter to Got rid of the cat and they said they could not take it so i asked one of the kids friends and she took it .Andrew brought the cat home from MN.what a nice boy.. Went to the collage and gave them the money for Andrew. I went and took Jess to her basket ball and got coffee so now i can think again.Talked to john tonight he is doing good and can not Wait to we are all together. It is really hard for him to be so far from us and only seeing us every either week. so that is my life for today.

What a day

What a day I had today. Went over to the collage with Andrew and he took his test and signed up for classes and i forgot my check book to pay for the dorm so have to go back tomorrow. What fun. when i was with Andrew at collage he left his light on is his room and the cat knocked it over and put a nice hole in the mattress and the blankets and what a mess thanks Andrew. We went out for coffee at a nice shop in Herkemer it was very old but nice.johns dad is here and will be staying till his things come bye truck for the apartment. That is all for today.

I thought this was so cute. one day i will love to have a dog like this that will drink with me.lol. what a long day just did nothing and nothing at all. my mom is sooo cool wow she is soooo amazing she made me a sandwhich... i loooove sandwhiches emmm emmm goooood anyways i am just typing because i can muhahahahah, well anyway here is my mum again to do some more .that was a little from andrew. well that is all.

He is home

My son is home now i am so happy i have all my kids in one place. He is trying to get his room put together oh he brought home his cat and he can not have cats so i don't know what is going to happen to the cat just spent 45 at Walmart on the cat. He got rid of the litter box when he moved it would not fit in the car. He was going the cat cheep cat food so i went and got ims for it. what fun. My husband went back to the city today. I will miss him. we will get to see each either on Xmas's so that is a long time away. I miss my sister and mom . I wish I lived closer to them, but it is funny how life works sometimes.when I was little my dad use to say how inportain family was and his sisters to him he would love to go and visit them a lot in the city so sometimes i would go with him and we would take the train to my aunt Margie's house and stay there, she had two boys and no girls so when i went she would spoil me and get me new cloths and play with my hair and tell me story's about my dad when he was little. i still see my aunt i think i am the only one of the kids that still keeps intutch with her. She is getting old and she lives near my husbands family so i call and go over to her house when i am in town. well that is all for now have to go and get the kids ready for school tomorrow.

Well today john says i spend to much money in a week only 2000 this past week not to bad . he got mad at me.... so i got mad at him. then we made up didn't last long. well made dinner and the kids eat it all so that was good. my son Andrew is on his way to move in soon. he is in transit as we speak. well make it a good day.this is a picture of my daughter and her friends.They had a party at our pool.

Well my family went home today. we had a nice visit. now i am going to clean my house and that will be that.I got up to day a 4am to go shopping but little to what i know my twins wanted to come shopping with me so i let them they got up and was ready before i got out of bed. what fun.we went to walmart and then to jcpennys what fun. my sister and i went over to the cemetery to look at the grave of the lady who wrote the pledge of a elegance . my sister thought that was cool. the graves were so old but the grounds were keep ed nice.that is all for now ;;;;;;;;;;;

turkey day

had a nice visit with my sister h and my mom and j .mom is staying over night and i am going to get up before anyone and go shopping what fun . Got to go and fight people for the good stuff that is on sale . what fun. well today was good went to the store and on the side of the road was this dear what fun.. so i just looked at it and said to my self he is so resting.well happy days to you all

well today is a good day. kids are all doing good. cleaned the house somewhat. Mom and H are coming tomorrow for turkey day and so is my husband he is in the city and will be here late tonight. Ya can not wait for..........you know it has been 2 weeks so that will be good. well have a nice turkey day........
